We are expanding our electronics recycling division and looking for qualified Warehouse Technicians to join our team.
Position Purpose
The purpose of the Warehouse Technician position is to positively contribute towards the ever-growing electronics recycling industry while diverting e-waste from our local landfill. The primary goal is to efficiently sort through mixed electronics that are being shipped and received daily, while preparing inventory for distribution.

- Graduated from 505-Junk training program (paid-time)
- Ability to learn and use technology (tablet, CRM, etc)
- Strong organisational skills
- The physical ability to bend, reach and lift electronics safely and repeatedly
- The physical ability to stand throughout your shift
- A great attitude and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
- Self motivated and eager to advance within the company
Position Responsibilities
Prepare Electronics for Distribution Daily
- Complete 505-Junk training on electronics recycling SOPs
- Assess material in mega bags for proper sorting
- Remove electronics from mega bags and deposit in appropriate mega bags
- Participate in safety and training meetings as required
- Participate in Salvation Army of Canada meetings as required
- Participate in team events to build relationships
Support Warehouse Supervisor as Required
- Support Warehouse Supervisor with shipping and receiving as required
- Support Warehouse Supervisor with tracking metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) as required
- Support Warehouse Supervisor with administrative work as required
- Provide feedback to Warehouse Supervisor on process improvements
- Participate in “Daily Huddle”
Warehouse Details
- Warehouse is situated at the Salvation Army of Canada National Recycling Operation headquarters
- Parking available on site in Langley, British Columbia
Compensation Structure
Hourly Compensation
- $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
