At 505-Junk, we pride ourselves on keeping reusable materials out of the landfill while helping our members of the community as much as possible. Our overall goal is to keep thousands of pounds of clothing out of the landfill. To help us with that, we have partnered with the Salvation Army to collect reusable clothing from our clients.

When you schedule a regular junk removal pickup, you can now add an unlimited number of bagged reusable clothing to your load at no charge. This gives you a chance to regain your closet space and also saves you a trip to the thrift store… a win-win for everyone! Simply mention this when you schedule your pick up with our office by phone at (604) 505-5865 or online.

All of the clothing donated from our clients will be taken to the Salvation Army with our brand new 505-Junk Donation Truck. At the Salvation Army, the clothing is sorted and washed for further distribution to Thrift Stores. If any clothing pieces are considered non-reusable by the Salvation Army Team, the item will be recycled as textiles and kept out of the landfill.
