Richmond RCMP Toy Drive: 9th Annual Event

Join us on Saturday, November 18th for the 9th Annual Richmond RCMP toy drive presented by Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives. The event will take place between 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Lansdowne Centre parking lot right next to the Canada Line train station. There will be lots of fun activities and yummy treats, so come hungry! The best part is, when you bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Richmond Christmas Fund, or make a minimum $10 donation, you will receive a bag of warm, delicious mini donuts.

A Reflection of Last Year’s Richmond RCMP Toy Drive

Last year, the Richmond RCMP toy drive event had an excellent turnout. We filled our 505-Junk donation truck with new toys for children whose families were unable to purchase presents over the holidays. At the event, there were awesome holiday games, photos with Santa, and lots of good food! Come by this year to see what fun games we will have!

This Year’s Event

This year at the Richmond RCMP Toy Drive, we will not only be collecting new, unwrapped toys, but we will also be collecting gently used clothes, blankets, and textiles for the Salvation Army! Our goal is to collect over 3000 lbs of clothing this weekend. To do this, we need your help. Please share this event with your friends, family, and colleagues. Together we can help families in need this holiday season. We will have 3 of our fantastic junk removal Richmond team members collecting toys at the event. We will then transport the toys to the Platinum Pro-Claim Restoration headquarters, for storage and distribution. Our goal is to help as many local families as possible this year.

This family-friendly event will be filled with community spirit, holiday cheer, and Santa himself. Bring a toy, and enjoy all of the yummy food and fun activities. You won’t want to miss out!
