Richmond RCMP Toy Drive

Richmond RCMP Toy Drive

Join us on Saturday, November 19th for the 8th Annual Richmond RCMP toy drive presented by Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives. The event will take place between 8 AM and 1 PM in the Lansdowne Centre parking lot right next to the Canada Line train station. There will be lots of fun activities and yummy treats, so come hungry! The best part is, when you bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Richmond Christmas Fund, or make a minimum $10 donation, you will receive a bag of warm, delicious mini donuts.

Last year, the Richmond RCMP toy drive event had an excellent turnout. We filled our 505-Junk donation truck with new toys for children whose families were unable to purchase presents over the holidays. At the event, there were awesome games such as “Dunk the Mayor.” This game gave community members a chance to try and dunk the Mayor Malcolm Brodie in a tank full of water. Additionally, there was a lot of good food and good company. Come by this year to see what fun games they will have!

This year at the Richmond RCMP Toy Drive, we hope to overflow our 505-Junk donation truck. To do this, we need your help. Please share this event with your friends, family, and colleagues. Together we can help families in need this holiday season. We will have 3 of our fantastic junk removal Richmond team members collecting toys at the event. The toys will then be transported to our partner’s headquarters, Platinum Pro-Claim Restoration, for storage and distribution. Our goal is to help as many local families as possible this year.

This family-friendly event will be filled with community spirit, holiday cheer, and Santa himself. Bring a toy, and enjoy all of the yummy food and fun activities. You won’t want to miss out!
